Wyoming has low property tax and sales tax, as well as no state income tax. We offer
some of the most amazing views in the entire country. Heart Mountain, Beartooth, Absaroka,
Carter, Cedar, Big Horn, and Pryor Mountain ranges – just to name a few! Yellowstone National
Park is the nation’s oldest and grandest national park, and it’s in our backyard. Recreational
opportunities abound – fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, hiking, skiing – our
outdoor adventures are endless. The Northfork Highway has a wealth of areas for all of the
above, including Sleeping Giant Ski Run.
Peaks to Prairie Realty is located on the main street in downtown Cody – Sheridan
Avenue. West Park Hospital serves the entire Big Horn Basin with comprehensive healthcare.
Cody boasts around 50 eating establishments and is home to many small businesses as well as
Cody Labs, CertainTeed, several oil and oil service companies, and much much more. The
Buffalo Bill Center of the West sits at the west end of Sheridan Avenue and is the pinnacle for
many cultural experiences. The Cody Nite Rodeo features nightly rodeos June through August.
Cody is a “happening place.”
Powell, Wyoming, to the east of Cody, is an agricultural area and is home to Northwest
Community College. It is a vibrant community and home to many great cultural and community
events that are enjoyed by many throughout the Big Horn Basin. It’s also the seat of our annual
county fair. Park County includes multiple small communities such as Clark, Meeteetse, and
Wapiti as well.
Big Horn County features the Big Horn Mountains which offer some of the finest
recreational meccas in all of Wyoming. If you’re looking for spectacular views and privacy, Big
Horn County might be for you. The county is home to many small towns and communities –
similar to Park County
